Overview
Susquehanna, one of the largest ETF liquidity providers globally, has been a leader in the ETF marketplace since the inception of the first ETFs over 30 years ago. Interns on our ETF Sales and Capital Markets team are introduced to the financial markets through practical experience on our trading desk and through formal education in a classroom setting.
Susquehanna's client-focused, full-scale sales and trading operation consists of sales traders, analysts, and derivative traders. As an ETF Sales Intern on the ETF Sales and Capital Markets team, you will work collaboratively with all areas of the desk to gain the practical exposure needed to perform your daily responsibilities.
Through hands-on training and real time interactions with the team, you will:
• Gain experience with exchange-traded funds (ETFs), model portfolios, capital markets, and equity portfolio trading
• Learn about market structure, the broader ETF ecosystem including issuers and exchanges, and the institutional investor landscape
• Partner with our sales team as they interact with clients and traders to facilitate ETF and equity portfolio trades, monitor the markets, and generate commentary and analysis on market trends and flows
• Learn to synthesize information from various market participants and articulate the factors driving large rotations in the ETF marketplace
• Participate in classroom education where you will learn about ETFs, options, and the decision-making strategies that our traders employ
• Experience our unique approach to trading and work alongside our traders as they price securities and manage risk
The ten-week summer program serves as our primary source for hiring full-time roles within our ETF Sales and Capital Markets team.
